28 to Create is a project started by Tynan and Brittany to enliven artists who might need an extra push or just wanna have some fun. We hope it will end in a community of people sharing their awesome work through the month of February. The challenge will start February 1st.
How does it work?
Every day we will post the daily prompt. It might just be one word. It might be a setting or a command or whatever the hell we want. Your task is to create something based on it. For ease of access, a link to a master list of the prompts will also be posted on the blog.
What can I create?
Anything. No, but literally anything. Baked goods. Paintings. Dances. Vlogs. Short stories. Poetry. Photography. Poop doodles. Typography. Gifs. Jewelry. Embroidery. Origami. Scripts. Songs. Bacon formed into landscapes. Tea blends. Sketches. Hair styles? Flower arranging. Make up designs. Masks. A quilt. 30 second films. An equation solving the complexities of unconditional love. We. Don’t. Care. Just CREATE.
Do I have to post every day?
Nope. It'd be great if you tried but if you only make one thing this month that's still awesome. Everyone has a life outside of the internet (even if you try to forget it) so it's understandable if you can't participate for every prompt. We're just here to encourage and help you try to make that goal.
Do I have to use the prompts?
No, of course not. They are there to be a guide. If you don't want to use them, please feel free to participate and share anyway!
How do I share my artsy things?
Please post them on the social networking site of your choice (Tumblr and blogs are a favorite, since even non-FB friends can see them). Then come back here and post a link to your day's work in the comment section of our daily prompts so everyone can more easily find and follow your work!
Our favorite place to post is Tumblr so please check us out there! We suggest tagging "28 to Create" on Tumblr, Instagram and Twitter.
How do I see other people's?
Check out the blog, tags and prompts every day!
